Welcome to A Time in Light photography. This store is run by Mark and Sylvia Lopatka.  We have been nature photographers for many years.  We began taking pictures for ourselves, it was (and still is) our hobby.  Many people who saw our pictures wanted to purchase them so we began to sell them at art and craft shows.  However, we soon found out that this took too much of our time, time we needed for our photography.  We then turned to the Internet for help.  We began this on-line  store to sell our work and it has worked out well for us.  Many more people can now view our work and make purchases, all while giving us more time for our hiking and photography.  Please look around and we hope you enjoy the images on this site.  Our job is done if you like what you see, even if you do not purchase anything.

We just moved this site to my own server called Portumnus.com.  I started Portumnus to host my site to save money.  It was getting too expensive to pay for quality service, so I did it myself.  We are rebuilding the entire site (including the store) so please check back often as we add more content.
